Sabre sur la Corée et Duel sur Mig Alley replacent Buck Danny au cœur des fondamentaux conçus par le duo Charlier-Hubinon. Les deux albums (Editions Zéphyr - scénario : Frédéric Zumbiehl) se situent à l’époque de Ciel de Corée (1954), un titre censuré qui empêcha Jean-Michel Charlier d’explorer plus avant ce conflit international. Sur des planches de beau format, l’encrage puissant et la dynamique des séquences de duels aériens placent Jean-Michel Arroyo dans le sillage de Victor Hubinon, tout en en laissant apparaitre une réelle personnalité et, surtout, un plaisir intense à faire voler Buck, Tumbler et Sonny !

Zwaard boven Korea en Duel in Mig Alley brengen Buck Danny opnieuw naar de fundamenten zoals het duo Charlier-Hubinon die bedacht. De twee albums (uitgeverij Zéphyr- scenario Frédéric Zumbiehl) spelen zich af in de tijd van In Korea (1953), een gecensureerde titel die Jean-Michel Charlier belette dieper in te gaan op dit internationaal conflict. Met zijn platen van groot formaat, met die krachtige inkting en de dynamiek van de luchtgevechtscènes komt Jean-Michel Arroyo in het kielzog van Victor Hubinon, terwijl hij toch een ware, menselijke figuur brengt en vooral het enorme genoegen Buck, Tumbler en Sonny opnieuw te zien vliegen!
